Reflecting on 2024 at Wonderspring

We have had an incredible year, marking new milestones that advance our mission and extend our reach. Our achievements are made possible through your support and we want to extend our deepest gratitude for your generosity!

At Wonderspring Early Education, it is our mission to provide pathways to quality education for all children in our community. To update you on our strategic goals in 2024:

  1. Wonderspring has held a 85.4% staff retention rate this year, which ensures stability, continuity, and quality education.
  2. We have served over 1,000 children and families across all locations and communities.
  3. On a scale from 1 to 10, families rated Wonderspring a 9.2 on average based on our Fall 2024 survey.
  4. Wonderspring has held dozens of community engagement events across all 11 locations.

In case you’ve missed what else we’ve been up to this year:

We cut the ribbon on our newest location at Smith Memorial Playground in Fairmount Park! We expect to open our doors and invite children into this new space early next year.

Wonderspring Powelton Village received a new playspace, made possible by KABOOM! and Fannie Mae, and built by the hands of fantastic volunteers. This beautiful playground will provide children at our Powelton Village location with a safe and engaging outdoor space to play and grow.

This school year marked the beginning of Wonderspring’s 60th anniversary, which we intend to celebrate on June 5, 2025 at 5pm. Make sure to save the date and stay tuned for more details.

Reach out to fundraising@wonderspring.org for any questions about sponsoring the event.

While we have much to celebrate as this year comes to a close, we strive to further our mission and continue to grow. This holiday season we ask for your continued support so we can be sure all of our children receive the resources they need.
